What’s wrong with people today

The Inspiration Page at Joe’s Goals is extremely telling. Joe’s has cataloged all of the goal names of all of its users and tallied them here in a “popularity cloud”. The largest words are the most popular among the top goals.

Of the largest items on that list, including some that have multiple variations, at least five are on my goal chart: Have breakfast. Exercise. Take vitamin. Drink more water. Eat lunch out (”negative goal”).

This cloud of goals (and anti-goals, in red) is, in effect, a cloud of what Americans et. al. see as wrong in themselves and their lives, and that they need to improve upon. Many of the smaller items on that page are good ideas — keep in touch, floss, eat fruit, etc. — though I am really concerned of just how large the word “shower” is on that page. Oh well, there’s an area where I’m ahead of the pack.
